Is your internship really about gaining knowledge and experience, or will you simply perform the same duties as other employees?
Difference working as an intern or an employee
As an intern, you are there primarily to learn and not to work. If the company really benefits from you, if the main concern is that you are productive, there may well be an employment contract.
Compensation intern
Are you just doing the same job as everyone else? If so, you should in principle receive more than an expense allowance. And possibly your internship agreement should be considered an employment contract. Should you suspect this, you can have a conversation with your employer and ask exactly what the situation is.
