Stijn Blom has been practicing as an employment law attorney since 2018. He worked for five years at the largest law firm in the southern Netherlands. In 2023, he founded Arbeidsadvocaat.nl. Stijn’s approach is modern, and he focuses on preventing legal problems. If that is not possible, the focus shifts to finding a pragmatic solution. Stijn advises companies on employment contract law, terms of employment, collective bargaining agreements, organizational changes, employee participation rights, restructurings, transfers of undertakings, and the position of statutory directors. He also assists employees and directors in dismissal cases and other labor disputes. Stijn has worked as an in-house counsel at large companies and educational institutions on several occasions, which has further ingrained a solution-oriented approach into his DNA.
Stijn studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he completed the selective master’s program in Labor Law in 2017. In 2022, he successfully completed the PALA postgraduate specialization program at Erasmus Academy (Erasmus University Rotterdam).

Stijn Blom is a member of the Association of Dutch Labor Law Attorneys (VAAN), the Association of Young Labor Law Attorneys ( VJAA), and the Labor Law Association (VvA).
