We are a young law firm that takes a practical and modern approach to employment law services. This requires attorneys or legal professionals who take the initiative, maintain a broad perspective, and can analyze issues with precision. Our approach is pragmatic, substantively sound, and accessible. We work primarily online and efficiently, and we adapt to developments driven by AI.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a motivated attorney (or attorney-at-law trainee) or labor law specialist who has completed a university master’s degree in Dutch law, preferably with a specialization in labor law. You are either already admitted to the bar, about to begin your career as an attorney, or have consciously chosen a substantive role as a legal counsel within a specialized practice. You possess strong analytical and communication skills and know how to translate complex legal issues into clear and practical advice for clients.

In addition, you work carefully and independently, take responsibility for your cases, and have an eye for quality and detail. You have a practical, solution-oriented approach and feel at home in a modern, entrepreneurial law firm.

– You are studying law at a university and are a third-year or master’s student
– You already have a passion for employment law
– You are proactive, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about getting to know the field of employment law
– You are fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).

What will you be doing as a student intern at Arbeidsadvocaat.nl?

– Providing support on ongoing cases, including drafting legal documents
– Attending meetings and court hearings
– Researching relevant case law and legislation
– Creating social media content, such as video scripts
– Writing blogs and other website content

Practical Information

A student internship at Arbeidsadvocaat.nl lasts an average of 2 months, for at least 4 days a week. We can determine the start date and duration of the internship in consultation with you. At the end of your internship, you will receive a written evaluation. You will receive an appropriate internship stipend.
