The goal of reintegration is to enable the employee to resume his or her duties in some capacity, taking into account any limitations resulting from the illness or incapacity. This process includes, among other things, drawing up a reintegration plan, adapting the workplace if necessary, providing appropriate guidance and training, and regularly evaluating progress; it may also involve, for example, adjusting tasks, work schedules, or retraining.
